Due to an unspecified injury, Australian all-rounder Will Sutherland will not be joining Somerset this season.
The 24-year-old was expected to arrive at Taunton to start the County Championship campaign and play for the reigning champions in the T20 Blast.
But the club has announced that he will now undergo rehabilitation in Australia.
Sutherland was due to play for Essex last summer but missed out due to a back injury.
He recently made his one-day international debut for Australia against the West Indies and has earned two caps for his country.
