In 2023, The Hundred and Birmingham Phoenix attracted a record 580,000 fans to cricket. Over 300,000 fans attended the women's competition in The Hundred, while Birmingham Phoenix had 70,000 attendees across four games at Edgbaston last season. The Hundred's combination of top-notch sports and entertainment, coupled with the excellent matchday experience at Edgbaston, resulted in a significant increase in attendance diversity in Birmingham. Specifically, 22% of junior tickets, 29% of female tickets, and 12% of ethnically diverse tickets were sold.

Additionally, 45% of ticket buyers were first-time attendees at Edgbaston for a cricket match. We look forward to welcoming even more new faces to watch Birmingham Phoenix this year!
