Australian cricketer Cameron Bancroft has renewed his contract with Gloucestershire, committing to the club until the end of the 2025 season. This marks Bancroft's third stint with the team, having previously played for them in 2016 and 2017.
During the 2024 County Championship, the 31-year-old batter has accumulated 745 runs in eight matches, making him a key player for the club. Additionally, Bancroft was Gloucestershire's leading run-scorer in the T20 Blast group stage, amassing 399 runs.
Bancroft expressed that extending his contract was an easy decision, citing the positive progress the team has made this season and his desire to continue contributing to their success.
With 10 Test match appearances for Australia, where he scored 446 runs, Bancroft brings valuable experience to Gloucestershire, including participation in two Ashes series. He will continue to be available for all formats in the upcoming season.
