Dan Lawrence will be back with The Desert Vipers

During the break from the England tour he will feature in two ILT20s games between the second and third Tests.

Dan Lawrence has rejoined the England team for the ILT20 during their break in Abu Dhabi between Tests against India.

He was called up to the Test squad after Harry Brook's late withdrawal. Despite being a wildcard signing for The Desert Vipers and only playing one match before leaving for India, Lawrence's skills have been recognised and he has been given the opportunity to represent his country. Although he was not selected for either of the first two Tests, his presence in the team for the ILT20 will undoubtedly strengthen England's chances of success. With the series currently tied at 1-1, Lawrence's inclusion could prove to be a game-changer.

Lawrence has been granted permission to play two additional games for the franchise while the rest of the squad is on break in Abu Dhabi. The Vipers are confident of securing a top-four finish and a spot in the knockouts, currently being fifth in the table.

Tom Moody, The Vipers’ director of cricket, confidently expressed his delight in welcoming Dan back to the team. Moody firmly stated that it made perfect sense for everyone involved. Dan is a top-class player who can significantly impact the game with both his exceptional batting and bowling skills. Having already been a part of the Vipers set-up, he is eager for match action.

Dan will have the opportunity to play and benefit from it after spending time on the sidelines during the ongoing Test series.

The England team has allowed Dan to rejoin The Vipers, and everybody appreciates his eagerness to seize the opportunity.

Dan had a positive impact both on and off the field during his brief time with The Vipers at the beginning of the tournament. The team are confident that he will continue to contribute as they strive towards the playoffs at the end of the regular season.

The Vipers will face the Dubai Capitals in Dubai on Friday, followed by a match against the Sharjah Warriors in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. The Warriors are currently in fourth place, two points ahead of the Vipers but having played one more game.

The third Test between England and India is scheduled to begin next Thursday in Rajkot.
