During the Test series break, Jonny Bairstow organises a golf outing for the England team

The England team is taking advantage of the break between the fourth and fifth Tests as the fifth and final Test between India and England approaches in Dharamshala on March 7. Led by star wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow, some of the English players decided to play golf in Bengaluru during their free time. Other players, such as Mark Wood, Ben Stokes, Shoaib Bashir, and Ben Foakes, chose Chandigarh as their base.

This self-funded golf trip is part of the team's strategy to unwind and recharge before the crucial Test match. While some players choose golf for relaxation, others have different preferences, highlighting the diversity within the team.

India won the ongoing Test series after securing victories in the second, third, and fourth Tests. The series was challenging for India after losing the opening Test in Hyderabad to England led by Ben Stokes.

India has already won the second, third, and fourth Tests, making the fifth Test a formality. Although India lost the first Test in Hyderabad to Ben Stokes-led England, they showcased resilience and mounted a remarkable comeback, winning three consecutive matches and clinching the series.

England will be hoping to salvage some pride and possibly a consolation victory in Dharamshala after three successive defeats. The fifth Test will provide an opportunity for both teams to evaluate their strategies and players before future challenges in international cricket.
