The England Men's selection panel has revealed a 14-player squad for the three-match Rothesay Test series against Sri Lanka, commencing at Emirates Old Trafford on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Zak Crawley, the opening batter, will be absent from the series due to a fractured right little finger sustained during the third Test victory over the West Indies.
Seam bowler Dillon Pennington, who was part of the squad in the recent series against the West Indies, will also miss the series after a hamstring injury incurred while playing in The Hundred competition.
Essex middle-order batter Jordan Cox has received his first call-up. The 23-year-old right-hander has shown exceptional form for Essex this season, having transferred from Kent at the beginning of the year. Cox has previously been involved with the England setup, touring Pakistan with the white-ball squad in the autumn of 2022.
Nottinghamshire seamer Olly Stone returns to the Test squad for the first time since June 2021 and aims to add to his three Test caps.
