England's Upcoming Limited-Overs Tour of India in 2025

England's men's cricket team is set to commence their limited-overs tour of India next year on January 22 in Chennai. Under the leadership of Jos Buttler, the team will embark on a series that includes five T20 internationals followed by three one-day internationals (ODIs).

The tour will start with the T20 series, beginning in Chennai and moving on to Kolkata on January 25, Rajkot on January 28, Pune on January 31, and culminating with the final T20 in Mumbai on February 2. Following the T20s, England will play the ODI series in Nagpur on February 6, Cuttack on February 9, and Ahmedabad on February 12.

This ODI series is particularly significant as it leads directly into the 2025 Champions Trophy, scheduled to commence in Pakistan on February 19.

England’s previous white-ball tour in India was in 2021, where they faced tough competition, losing the T20 series 3-2 and the ODI series 2-1. Their recent 2023 World Cup campaign in India also proved challenging, with England losing six out of nine matches and failing to progress beyond the group stage.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also released dates for their other fixtures, including visits from Bangladesh and New Zealand from September to early November, followed by a five-Test series against Australia later in November.

- Third T20: January 28 - Rajkot

- Fourth T20: January 31 - Pune

- Fifth T20: February 2 - Mumbai
