Ireland's women's cricket team has announced their squads for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Sri Lanka. Laura Delany will captain the team in both formats, starting with two T20Is on August 11 and 13 in Dublin.
Following the T20Is, the series will continue with three ODIs in Belfast from August 16 to 20, which are part of the ICC Women’s Championship. Ireland aims to improve their standings, currently at the bottom with 2 points from 12 games, while Sri Lanka has 20 points from 21 games.
Christina Coulter Reilly, Jane Maguire, and Cara Murray will play exclusively in the T20Is, while Joanna Loughran, Aimee Maguire, and Alice Tector are selected only for the ODIs. The rest of the players are included in both squads.
