Surrey seamer Charlotte Lambert has been named in the England Under-19 squad for the tour of Sri Lanka, while Charlotte Stubbs has been confirmed as a non-travelling reserve.
England will take on the hosts and Australia in a tri-series of T20 and 50-over matches at the end of March and beginning of April, with dates and venues to be announced in due course.
The 15-man squad includes several players who took part in the inaugural ICC Women's Under-19 World Cup in South Africa in January 2023 and are still of age. They are joined by some players who will only be U19s for the 2024 season, as well as a number of players who will remain U19s for the second Women's U19 World Cup in Malaysia in January 2025 and will therefore be eligible for that programme later in 2024.
