Surrey has successfully re-signed Aaron Hardie, the talented Australian all-rounder

Aaron Hardie, the Australian international all-rounder, has re-signed for Surrey from May until the end of July.

He will be available for three County Championship matches and the T20 Blast group stage.

Having played three T20 games and one red-ball match for the County Championship winners in the 2022 season, he has since won 10 white-ball caps for his country, scoring 84 runs and taking six wickets. Hardie's impressive track record and experience make him a valuable addition to the Surrey team, and his presence is sure to boost the team's performance in the upcoming matches.

Having played three T20 games and one red-ball match for the County Championship winners in the 2022 season, he has since won 10 white-ball caps for his country, scoring 84 runs and taking six wickets.

Hardie, born in Bournemouth, boasts an impressive average of just under 45 runs in first-class cricket, with a top score of 174 not out, and has taken 62 wickets with the ball.

Hardie confidently expressed his excitement to return to Surrey this summer, stating, 'I am thrilled to come back to Surrey this summer.' He was the leading scorer in the 2022-23 Big Bash League with Perth Scorchers.

During his time at the club in 2022, he gained a deep understanding of what it truly means to wear the Three Feathers.

He is willing to contribute to the team's success with both batting and bowling skills, ensuring that the team achieve more victories for the South London.

Hardie is set to join the reigning champions before their County Championship match against Hampshire on 24 May.

West Indies bowler Kemar Roach will also return to The Oval this season, the club announced in February.
