The 20-team ICC Men's T20 World Cup will begin on June 1st, and Group A will consist of India, Pakistan, the hosts United States, Ireland, and Canada.
At the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, India will play a warm-up match against Bangladesh to kick off their T20 World Cup campaign on Saturday. The Indian players were observed going through rigorous training before the match.
Vice-captain Hardik Pandya was making sharp leg-side shots while captain Rohit Sharma was busy organising his defence. In a video that the BCCI published, Rishabh Pant was shown honing his unusual shots through mid-wicket while Shivam Dube tested his bat swing.
Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jassip Bumrah were observed bowling in the brilliant sunshine. The all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya also threw their arms over.
The 20-team ICC Men's T20 World Cup is scheduled to get off on June 1 and Group A consists of India, Pakistan, the hosts United States, Ireland, and Canada.
The teams will play one another in a single-round robin style, with the top two teams in each group moving on to the tournament's Super Eight round. The West Indies will co-host the major tournament alongside the United States of America (USA), where all group A matches will take place.
On June 1, the United States and Canada will compete in the tournament's opening match at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
