Yadvinder Singh, a newcomer to Worcestershire, has made a positive impression since becoming a professional cricketer at New Road.
He is a pace bowler and was the second player from the South Asian Cricket Academy to sign a professional contract with Worcestershire earlier this winter.
According to Assistant Head Coach Kadeer Ali, Yadvinder shares the same drive and determination to succeed as Kashif Ali, a batter who joined Worcestershire from SACA two years ago:
“Yadi has got that similar hunger and determination to succeed as Kashif and been working really hard for an opportunity and credit to him.”
Kadeer has been working in the nets with the bat of Adam Hose.
Hose has had a busy winter. He has played in the Abu Dhabi T10, the Big Bash League, and the International T20 League.
