Scorecard

Scotland's hopes of victory in their ODI against Oman in Dundee were dashed by rain. After winning the toss and opting to bowl, Scotland dismissed Oman for a mere 123 runs, with debutant Jasper Davidson shining with figures of 4-23 from his eight overs. Brandon McMullen and Mark Watt each claimed two wickets, while Zeeshan Maqsood stood firm for Oman, scoring an unbeaten 40.

In pursuit, openers George Munsey and Charlie Tear launched Scotland's innings with intent, amassing an 83-run partnership. Munsey was dismissed for 47, followed by McMullen for just one. Soon after, rain interrupted play with Scotland needing only 25 more runs to win, with over 37 overs remaining.

Richie Berrington's squad will face Oman and Namibia in five more ODIs this month at Forfarshire's Forthill ground as part of the Cricket World Cup League 2.
