All English players scheduled to participate in the 2024 IPL

Moeen Ali - Chennai Super Kings

Moeen Ali brings his dynamic all-round skills to the Chennai Super Kings, adding depth and versatility to CSK's lineup. His explosive batting and dangerous off-spin bowling will make him a valuable asset to Chennai as they look to win back-to-back IPL titles in 2024.

Phil Salt - Kolkata Knight Riders

Salty is an exciting addition to Kolkata Knight Riders with his aggressive batting and electric fielding. He could set the stage for some exciting performances throughout the tournament with his ability to make quick starts at the top of the order. Salt replaces fellow England opener Jason Roy. Roy withdrew from the tournament earlier this month for personal reasons.

David Willey - Lucknow Super Giants

David Willey's left-arm pace bowling and lower-order batting make him an exciting prospect for the Lucknow Super Giants this year. His ability to take crucial wickets and score vital runs makes him a valuable asset for Lucknow as they establish their IPL presence. In his last match for England at the 2023 World Cup last year, Willey took 3-56 against Pakistan at Eden Gardens.

Luke Wood - Mumbai Indians

With Gerald Coetzee and Jasprit Bumrah already in the mix this year, Luke Wood adds variety to Mumbai Indians' formidable bowling attack. His left-arm seam bowling, and ability to generate pace and swing the ball make him a potent weapon for Mumbai as they seek their first IPL win since 2020.

Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Woakes - Punjab Kings

The Punjab Kings has supported the English players this year, with Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Jonny Bairstow, and Chris Woakes all featuring. Livingstone's explosive batting, Curran's all-round skills, Bairstow's aggressive strokeplay, and Woakes' deadly seam bowling provide Punjab with a strong English foundation in the tournament.

Jos Buttler, Tom Kohler-Cadmore - Rajasthan Royals

Jos Buttler, England's white-ball captain and an IPL winner in 2017, has delivered incredible performances for Rajasthan Royals since his debut in 2018. In 2022, he became the first overseas player to score four hundreds in a single IPL tournament. Buttler is only the second player in IPL history to do so after Virat Kohli. He scored 39 runs in the final and finished the season with a total of 863 runs, the second-highest in IPL history. Tom Kohler-Cadmore is part of the squad, adding aggressive strokeplay to strengthen the Rajasthan Royals' top order.

Will Jacks, Reece Topley, Tom Curran - Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB should have the versatility to mount a strong challenge in this year's IPL with Jacks' aggressive batting, Topley's left-arm pace and Curran's all-round firepower. Their contributions will be crucial as Bangalore seeks its first IPL title.
