Antigua & Barbuda Falcons Assemble New Squad for Caribbean Premier League

The Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, the latest addition to the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), has announced the inclusion of several prominent players in their squad. Pakistani stars Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, and Fakhar Zaman, along with all-rounders Chris Green and Azmatullah Omarzai, are set to join the team.

This new franchise has taken the place of the Jamaica Tallawahs, a three-time champion team that was disbanded by its owner due to financial challenges. The Falcons will host their matches at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

The team also includes Brandon King and Fabian Allen, both of whom are currently representing the West Indies in the ongoing T20 World Cup. The roster revealed on Monday features other notable players such as Hayden Walsh and Shamar Springer.

As of now, the Falcons have filled 12 spots on their roster but still have five more positions to fill, which will be decided during the CPL draft scheduled for July.
