Curtis Campher Joins Gloucestershire for Final One-Day Cup Push

Gloucestershire has secured the services of Ireland all-rounder Curtis Campher on a short-term contract.

The 25-year-old Campher will be available for Gloucestershire’s final group match in the One-Day Cup against Leicestershire this Wednesday.

Originally from Johannesburg, Campher made history by becoming the first player to achieve a hat-trick for Ireland in T20 cricket during the 2021 Men's World Cup against the Netherlands.

Recognised for his prowess in white-ball cricket, Campher debuted in T20 internationals for Ireland at just 22 and has already participated in three T20 World Cups.

If Gloucestershire advances to the knockout rounds of the 50-over competition, Campher will be eligible to play in both the quarter-final and any potential semi-final matches.

This marks Campher's second experience in the One-Day Cup, following his five-match stint with Somerset last season.
