Grace Scrivens and Bryony Smith achieved the highest partnership of the 2024 women's Hundred (74), but Smith was run out when Spirit bowler Charlie Dean deflected Scrivens' straight drive onto the stumps. Scrivens, who was dropped on 16 by Sarah Glenn and successfully overturned an lbw decision off Deepti Sharma when on 21, ended the day with a bruised cheek after missing a catch and being struck in the face. Nat Sciver-Brunt continued her impressive form, scoring 21 off 12 balls, extending her lead as the tournament's top run-scorer with 209 runs in five matches.
Today we will see four matches in The Hundred. Welsh Fire will host Northern Superchargers at Sophia Gardens, with the women's game at 11:30 BST and the men's at 15:00. Oval Invincibles will welcome Southern Brave to The Kia Oval, with the women's match at 15:00 and the men's at 18:30.
