Kyle Coetzer believes that the Super 10 is significant for Scottish cricket

The event will feature 34 Ten10 matches between six men's franchises. Additionally, two women's teams will meet on the opening weekend of the two-week event, which runs from 16 August.

Each squad will consist of 15 players, including up to nine male international players and six Scots.

Coetzer, the former captain of Scotland, said:

"Male and female, not only the national players but also those who are underneath the national players, and it is going to give them an opportunity to play at the highest level and play against some of the best cricketers in the world.”

Coetzer believes that T10 cricket doesn't receive much exposure and finds the idea of up to six teams playing on the same ground on the same day to be exciting.
