England have made only one change to their XI for the final Test against India in Dharamsala, recalling fast bowler Mark Wood in place of Ollie Robinson.
Wood was rested for the fourth Test defeat, while Robinson struggled with a back problem in Ranchi.
England are 3-1 down and will lose the series regardless of the result of the fifth Test, which starts on Thursday.
Robinson and Shoaib Bashir did not train on Wednesday due to illness, but captain Ben Stokes said it was not a major issue.
He stated that he doesn't think it's anything to be too concerned about. Both of them woke up with slightly upset stomachs. As the game was approaching, the team decided to keep them away to avoid any risks.
Stokes expressed confidence that off-spinner Bashir will be fit to play. England currently have no contingency plan if he is ruled out, as there are no other frontline spinners in the squad after Jack Leach and Rehan Ahmed both left the tour.
Currently, England have refrained from playing three frontline seamers for the first time on the tour.
The scenic Dharamsala ground is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, with significantly cooler temperatures than those experienced in the series thus far.
But all-rounder Stokes said any preconceived notions England might have had about their team selection had been altered by their impressions of the pitch.
Stokes, aged 32, has been recovering from knee surgery since November. At times during the tour, he has hinted that he is ready to bowl competitively for the first time since July, although he stated that he had no intention of bowling in the fifth Test when he was selected.
Jonny Bairstow, the batter, will win his 100th cap, making him the 17th Englishman to reach this milestone in Test cricket. Ravichandran Ashwin, the off-spinner, will also mark a century of Test caps for India.
The group, consisting of Bairstow, Zak Crawley, Tom Hartley, Ollie Pope, Gus Atkinson, and Dan Lawrence, along with some members of staff, visited the residence of the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala.
This marks the final engagement of England men's winter, which was primarily spent in India. Stokes, Bairstow, Atkinson, Wood, and Joe Root were part of England's disappointing World Cup campaign in October and November and also participated in this Test tour that began in mid-January.
Although Stokes will suffer his first series defeat as captain, he stated that his team has made 'good progression' and there are no thoughts of returning home before the final Test commences.
England team for the fifth Test:
Ben Stokes, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Foakes, Tom Hartley, Mark Wood, James Anderson, Shoaib Bashir.
