Northamptonshire Reports Pre-Tax Profits Amid Rising Costs

Northamptonshire has reported pre-tax profits of £86,813 for the fiscal year ending January 31, 2024. The club’s external statement highlighted that this profit aligns with their expectations, despite facing increased energy costs, higher cricketing expenses, and rising catering costs.

Northants chief executive Ray Payne expressed satisfaction with the club's revenue performance in 2023. He noted that the financial results were bolstered by strong attendance at home games during the T20 Blast, as well as increased revenue from sponsorship and broadcast rights for international cricket, as distributed by the England and Wales Cricket Board.

This announcement follows the club's February decision to secure a 125-year lease for a new ground at New Manor Farm in Moulton, intended for its academy, women's, and disabled teams. Northamptonshire has been based at The County Ground in Abington since 1886.
