Northamptonshire has signed Ravi Bopara, a former all-rounder for Sussex and Essex, for this summer's T20 Blast.
Bopara has scored over 9,100 runs and taken 277 wickets in 462 T20 matches worldwide.
He has also represented England in all formats of the game, making 171 appearances between 2007 and 2015.
Bopara agreed to an initial one-year deal and played a crucial role in Essex's victory over Worcestershire in the 2019 final, scoring an unbeaten 36 off 22 balls.
He was also Sussex's top scorer in last year's competition with 408 runs. This included a career-best 108 off 53 balls against Kent at Canterbury.
Northants begin this year's campaign at home to Derbyshire on May 30, having won the T20 Blast in 2013 and 2016.
