Nottinghamshire's wicketkeeper-batsman, Tom Moores, has signed a new deal

Nottinghamshire wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Moores has signed a one-year deal to stay at the club.

His current contract was due to expire at the end of the upcoming season, but it has now been extended until autumn 2025.

The 27-year-old is the son of head coach Peter Moores. He has scored more than 2,600 runs and taken 215 first-class wickets for Notts.

Moores, who rose through the ranks at Trent Bridge, has won the T20 Blast with Notts twice and played a key role in their County Championship promotion as Division Two title winners in 2022.

According to his father and head coach, Peter, Moores has become an essential member of the Notts squad.
