Pre-season programme review for Worcestershire 2024

Worcestershire has updated its 2024 pre-season schedule due to the relocation of the first two home Vitality County Championship matches against Durham and Somerset from New Road to Kidderminster.

The three-day opening match against Durham UCCE at Chester Road will still commence on Thursday (March 21-23), followed by a two-day fixture against Hampshire at the Utilita Bowl (March 25-26).

However, the match against the South Asian Cricket Academy at Kidderminster from March 30 to April 1 has been cancelled.

The four-day Second Eleven Championship game with Gloucestershire has been rescheduled to take place at Kidderminster from March 30 to April 2.

This change will provide the ground-staff with extra time to prepare for the Championship games with Durham (April 19-22) and Somerset (April 26-29).
