Surrey has travelled to Hove to take on Sussex in a two-day pre-season match.
Surrey has taken a 12-player squad:
Rory Burns, Jordan Clark, Matt Dunn, Ben Geddes, Tom Lawes, Conor McKerr, Jamie Overton, Ryan Patel, Dom Sibley, Jamie Smith, Cam Steel, Dan Worrall.
The first team to bat will have a maximum of 60 overs before the teams switch roles. After another 60 overs, the second team will finish their innings and the roles will be reversed once again.
The toss was uncontested, and Surrey will bat first as agreed upon by both clubs.
