Alex Hales, a former England batter, and Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan T20 skipper, are among the players who have signed up for the inaugural Scottish Super 10 in Aberdeen in August.
The event will feature six men's franchises, namely Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Perth, and Dundee, who will play 34 Ten10 matches.
Additionally, two women's teams will play during the opening weekend of the event.
Each squad will consist of 15 players, including up to nine international male players and six Scots.
Hales, one of the most destructive limited-overs batters in the game, has experience playing for franchises in India, Australia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
The tournament will also feature Rashid's Afghanistan teammate Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza, Pakistan bowler Naseem Shah, and New Zealand batter Finn Allen.
Additional participants for the event, scheduled to take place from 16 to 31 August, will be announced at a press conference in Dubai during the last week of April.
