Durham University game cancelled

Worcestershire's scheduled three-day pre-season match against Durham UCCE at Kidderminster was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to the extremely wet outfield conditions.

But the players can continue using the net facilities at Chester Road over the coming days.

Kadeer Ali, Assistant Head Coach of Worcestershire, commented it is disappointing that the game has been cancelled. Both sides would have liked to play.

Worcestershire's next scheduled fixture is against Hampshire at the Utilita Bowl. The two-day match begins on Monday, March 25.
