Election of the members of the General Committee

Voting is now open for the 2024 election of members of the Surrey County Cricket Club General Committee.

This year, nine candidates are standing for four vacancies. The candidates are as follows:

• Zafar Ansari
• Warwick Jones
• Emma Lewendon
• Ewen Macleod
• Richard Mantell
• Simon Menneer
• Oliver Slipper
• Steve Wootten
• David Wright

Surrey County Cricket Club is a Members' Club that follows a democratic structure. The General Committee allows for the election of four Members annually. The candidates are proposed by five current Members of the Club and must submit their application by 1st February, by Club Rules.

Nomination forms are available from the candidates and are part of the election web page.

The candidates were asked to complete the form under the following headings:

• Provide details of your membership history with cricket clubs and other relevant bodies, including dates of membership.
• Include a history of service to Surrey County Cricket Club, such as committee membership, with corresponding dates.
• List any professional qualifications
• Provide a brief outline of the attributes the candidate would bring to the General Committee.
