England's semi-final opponent will be the winner of Group 1. If India finishes at the top of Group 1, they will face England in the semi-finals. The final confirmation of England’s opponent could be as late as Tuesday morning, depending on the outcomes of the remaining group matches.

Schedule and Location of the Semi-Finals  

Both semi-final matches are scheduled for Thursday, June 27. The first semi-final will be played in Trinidad and Tobago at 01:30 BST, and the second in Guyana at 15:30 BST. According to pre-tournament arrangements, if India qualifies, they will compete in the 15:30 BST match. If India does not advance, the winner of Group 1 will face the second-placed team from Group 2 in Trinidad and Tobago, and the runner-up in Group 1 will play against the top team from Group 2 in Guyana.

Net run-rate (NRR) is a critical metric in cricket tournaments for deciding team standings. It is calculated by taking the average runs per over a team scores across their innings and subtracting the average runs per over they concede to the opposition.

If they bowl out their opposition in fewer overs, the opposition's run-rate is based on the maximum overs they could have batted.
