Rob Lord Signs Two-Year Extension with Nottinghamshire

Nottinghamshire's seam bowler Rob Lord has secured a new two-year contract with the county club. Initially brought in on a short-term deal ahead of the One-Day Cup, the 23-year-old impressed with his performances, taking 11 wickets at an average of 22.63 during the competition.

Following his strong showing, Lord earned his place in Nottinghamshire's County Championship squad, featuring in matches against top sides Surrey and Essex.

Expressing his satisfaction with the new contract, Lord shared with the club’s website that he was thrilled to continue his journey with Nottinghamshire. He noted the supportive environment at Trent Bridge, adding that the past few months had been instrumental in his development, particularly due to his work with the coaching staff and the experience gained from first-team cricket.

As the season progresses, Nottinghamshire's next challenge comes in the County Championship fixture against Kent on Tuesday, 17 September, where Lord could play a crucial role in the squad's push for success.
