Rothesay Secures Multi-Year Partnership with England Cricket Board

Rothesay has entered into a multi-year agreement with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to become an official partner of England Cricket. This long-term partnership will commence with the first men's Test match between England and the West Indies on Wednesday, July 10 at Lord's, marking a historic event as Jimmy Anderson bids farewell to international cricket.

As part of this partnership, Rothesay's branding will be prominently displayed at all England men's and women's home Test matches, including the 2027 Ashes series for both men and women. Additionally, Rothesay will have its branding featured at England women's home matches across all formats.

Throughout the partnership, Rothesay plans to engage its policyholders, employees, and cricket fans through various activities designed to bring them closer to the sport. This includes supporting community cricket initiatives across England and Wales.

ECB's Chief Commercial Officer, Tony Singh, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that they are thrilled to welcome Rothesay as the new title partner for Test match cricket in England and Wales. Singh noted the increasing popularity of Test cricket, evidenced by record viewing and attendance figures last year, and looked forward to seeing Rothesay's brand displayed at numerous iconic matches over the next few years, including Jimmy Anderson's final Test, the 2027 Ashes, and the first-ever England women's Test match at Lord's.

Rothesay's Chief Executive, Tom Pearce, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasising that Rothesay is dedicated to providing security for UK pensioners and is now also committed to supporting the future of Test cricket. Pearce expressed hope that the partnership will inspire all generations and make cricket a more inclusive game for everyone.
