Somerset Signs Brett Randell

Somerset has secured New Zealand seamer Brett Randell on a short-term overseas contract. The 29-year-old will join the team for their remaining three County Championship Division fixtures.

Randell expressed his excitement, stating that playing County Cricket has been a lifelong dream and that it’s particularly meaningful to represent a prestigious club like Somerset.

With 30 first-class matches under his belt, Randell has taken 86 wickets at an impressive average of 25.15, including a best bowling performance of 6-45. His strong performances earned him a spot in the New Zealand A squad last year.
