Yorkshire signs South African all-rounder Donovan Ferreira for T20 Blast

Yorkshire's first overseas signing for the 2024 T20 Blast is South African all-rounder Donovan Ferreira.

The 25-year-old has experience in wicket-keeping, bowling, and batting. He has played two T20 internationals for the Proteas, scoring 60 runs, including six sixes.

Ferreira is a big hitter. He has played in the Indian Premier League with Rajasthan Royals and the Abu Dhabi T10 with Chennai Braves.

Darren Gough, Yorkshire's cricket managing director, said that Ferreira is an exciting addition to the team. His all-round abilities and consistent performances in various international franchise leagues indicate that he has a significant career ahead in cricket.
